Established and registered in Dubai in 1977, MI Gulf Services (MIGS), has over 30 years experience providing Drilling Fluids and Solids Control Services throughout the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Formed as a joint venture (JV), DRESCO between Oilfields Supply Centre (OSC) (60%) and Dresser Industries (40%), the JV was established to supply Drilling Fluids and Engineering services to customers in Oman and the Emirates and has since grown.

Over the years, the Company has evolved and grown, as Dresser Industries became MISWACO and the JV name was changed in 2002 to MI Gulf Services (L.L.C) and the range of products and services grew, along with the countries where these services are provided.

Commencing January 01 2010, MI Gulf Services became a wholly owned subsidiary of Oilfields Supply Centre, and continues to provide the same and similar services as previously, whilst at the same time increasing the products and services offered by developing strategic partnerships with a number of manufacturers whose equipment and services enhance the current business lines of MI Gulf Services.

Today, MI Gulf Services is headquartered in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, at the Oilfields Supply Centre, providing Drilling and Completion Fluids, Engineering Services, Solids Control equipment and Environmental Waste Management services and equipment utilising a staff of over 300 people based throughout the Middle East.

These business lines work in synergy with the facilities offered by our parent company, OSC, (www.oscdubai.com) which include logistics, machine shops, fabrication and IT structure etc, thus allowing a 24/7 response to all our requirements.

Utilising a world class QHSE Management system, MI Gulf Services ensures that all our staff are thoroughly, and continuously trained, and committed to ensuring that QHSE is their number one priority. The Company is certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

With centralized logistics, a comprehensive inventory, liquid mud and bulk plant, complete with a maintenance facility, based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, MIGS is able to supply materials and equipment by either, road, sea or air to countries throughout the Middle East, Asia and Africa with minimal lead times.

In 2011, MI Gulf Services opened a "Best In Class" Laboratory in Dubai that is designed and equipped to provide operational, QC/QA and development facilities for our business lines and to ensure that all our drilling fluids products meet strict QC guidelines to either API or our own criteria.

Further to the facilities in Dubai, MI Gulf Services also has an operational office in Muscat, Oman and a number of warehouses, liquid mud plants, a fleet of trucks, trailers and vacuum units, provides a 24/7 service to all the Oman oilfields.
