main office in the capital, Tripoli with planned
expansion that includes construction of a state
of the art vehicle repair facility located in
Misurata as well as through the introduction
of additional equipment as and when necessary

Libya
Oilfields Supply Company logistics base will
be located in Misurata in a modern facility
from were the company will provide Base &
Logistic Services to its clients that are exclusively
oilfield related. The base will include numerous
purpose built buildings varying in size which
will consist of an office and warehouse configuration
as well as a large specific area for the storage
of tubulars and other equipment which will be
safely stored and mechanically handled by the
company’s fleet of various tonnage mobile
cranes, pipe handles and forklift trucks. Other
services in support of the logistics base will
also consist of Clearing & Forwarding, Security
Services and Vehicle Repair including Waste
Management.
Provision
of Mobile Cranes and Operators
The Company will provide certified mobile cranes
and these will typically be 50 ton rough terrain
mobile cranes although one mobile crane rated
to 80 tons will be available. This equipment
will also include certified wire rope slings,
shackles as well as web slings for use if required
by clients. This equipment will be operated
by trained crane operators and will be leased
on a daily, weekly, monthly or longer term basis.
Provision
of Forklifts and Operators
Certified forklift trucks with operators will
be provided by the company and these will typically
be in the 7 – 15 ton range suitable for
rough terrain use. These vehicles will be operated
by trained forklift truck drivers and in a similar
way to mobile cranes will be leased on a daily,
weekly, monthly or longer term basis.
Workshop
Facility
Support for vehicle service and repair will
be performed in the field as well as at the
client’s location and in the event of
a major breakdown this will be undertaken at
the company’s repair facility in Misurata.
The workshop will be a state of the art facility
with all the necessary equipment to properly
service and repair all the company’s and
client’s vehicles by trained mechanics
who will also be supported by mechanics from
Oilfields Supply Center Ltd Dubai.
Personnel
Apart from management positions Libya Oilfields
Supply Company will exclusively employ personnel
that are of Libyan nationality and their departmental
training will be undertaken in Tripoli or in
Dubai at Oilfields Supply Center Ltd facilities.

be five key operations supervisors provided

system will be provided by Oilfields Supply
Center Ltd Dubai for use in day to day operations
where the client will truly benefit by this
very strong HS&E culture that minimises
Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) and enhances the
quality of the services provided. The position
of Head of HS&E has been introduced and
reporting to this position are Safety Officers
who will periodically visit client field locations
and report on all HS&E matters and at the
same time obtain a variety of HS&E linked
information from client personnel working at
various locations.
QA/QC
Management System
Consistent with the HS&E system Libya Oilfields
Supply Company will benefit from the QA/QC system
developed by Oilfields Supply Center Ltd in
Dubai and the company will be certified for
ISO 9001:2000 as well as ISO 14001:2004. Libya

& Arabic QA/QC Management System manual
along with its handbooks that are used for both
its Dubai and Libyan operations.
