Oilfield Services Company (IOSC) is a private
joint stock company established under the laws
of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The shareholders of the company
are Tehran Berkeley Engineers (an Iranian company)
holding 60% of the shares and Oilfields Supply
Center Ltd. (a United Arab Emirates company)
holding 40% of the shares. Both shareholder
companies have extensive experience in the upstream
oil & gas industry in the Islamic Republic
of Iran for both the National Iranian Oil Company
(NIOC) and more recently with the operators
of the "Buy-Back" Projects. The company
itself has its head office in Tehran and logistics
bases in Bander Imam Khomeini, Bushehr, Kharg,
and Kish Islands and has plans for its presence
at Ahwaz and Assaluyeh.
Services
The services of the company include the following
key upstream activities: logistics, supply vessels,
jack-up vessels for maintenance, accommodation
& well servicing, oilfield equipment repair,
maintenance & inspection, comprehensive
drilling fluids products and services, formation
evaluation and directional drilling, through-tubing
fishing & completion. The design & management
of the construction of wellhead and production
platforms, SBM overhauls, sub-sea pipe-laying,
rig refurbishment programmes, customs clearance
services, waste management services, container
services, survey & inspection of all types
of offshore structures are competencies existing
within IOSC logistics base management to clients'
specific requirements. With this in mind, the
company does have integrated services capabilities.
Heat Transfer markets include
marine & offshore, power generation, petrochemical,
industrial process and the oil & gas industry.
Both IOSC and OSC are involved
in a number of buy-back projects in Iran. The
