has its own dedicated organisation to look after
all aspects of preventive maintenance, remedial
maintenance, warranty issues and maintenance contracts
to ensure that its facilities remain operational
365 days a year.
Some of the services offered by OSC include
the following:
Maintenance
Using state-of-the-art machinery
and equipment, with its dedicated personnel,
all items of maintenance are handled effectively
on a 24-hours per day, 365 days per year basis,
minimizing disruption to the day-to-day operations
of OSC and associated companies.
All facilities have been
built and are maintained in accordance with
the Jebel Ali Free Zone regulations and regular
checks are carried out to ensure continued conformity
to these and OSC’s own standards.
Security
OSC has its own Security
Department which is responsible for round-the-clock
security. It also monitors the sophisticated
electronic fire and smoke control systems for
the entire facility.
First Aid Clinic
There
is a First Aid Clinic available to provide emergency
care for all personnel on the facility, which
is manned during working hours by a registered
Paramedic. An ambulance, equipped to the highest
standard, is also available for emergencies
24 hours a day.
Helipad
A Helipad is situated within
the OSC yard in Jebel Ali for the use of offshore
and other operations.
Cafeteria
All employees within OSC’s
facilities, regardless of position, are enjoying
inexpensive but quality meals from the comprehensive
OSC menu. A Ia carte meals are prepared and
served in site by OSC’s qualified staff.
Filling Stations
Within the Jebel Ali facility,
OSC owns and operates an attended filling station
for the convenience of OSC and its associated
companies.
Conference
Room Facilities
Fully equipped conference
facilities, which can accommodate up to 100
people seated with desks and approximately 500
people seated auditorium-style, are available
for the use of companies within the facility.
Audio visual and other conference equipment
is also available.
New Building Expansion
The Facility Services group
also has extensive involvement in the planning
and development of any additional buildings,
infrastructure and new phases drawing upon many
years of experience in the Middle East. All
future phases will be developed using design
and materials consistent with existing buildings
to ensure that an appealing and functional perspective
